A small instruction on how to easily mod your single players characters in Diablo 2.
If you really don't CARE about the modding part and you just want to see the items and what they do, skip to the end.
Well been playing Diablo 2 single player for the last couple of days. Just been using stock plugy mod. I'm level 85 from just farming Countess, Andariel and Mephisto, the drop rate is just not made for single player. Helo! i am not able to do this, do i need to have any of the items that i will want to produce or modify or not? when i go open it goes to a folder that has nothing different from yours? what do I do?
Not visible is just adding the mod and it isn't visible on the item in game. Similar to how when you put in the pally resistance skill points it adds to max resist but it doesn't say it does. That's a not visible.
Not defined is what they are all by default 'not defined' so nothing is thereI know this is a old comment, but as long as you’re not on ladder Blizzard does not care if you mod multiplayer.
When Blizzard randomly decides to run a script for detecting mods like this then you will be banned.
this one works for 1.14d just downloaded it yesterday to save my runes through the export function of the editor. I use it mainly to mule and dupe runes.
When you start modding weapons like on this video, the game itself gets very fast very boring since you have no end goal to find some special items anymore. Everything you will find will be less good.
When starting the hero editor and opening a char he will give you to error messages. (He is searching the wrong path to find your savegames. After these to errors he will automatically ask you to enter the path to the savegames,.. manipulate, save,.. doneI realize this is an older video, and your first (Congratulations). I enjoyed it. I recently downloaded Hero Editor v1.04, but had trouble finding 'How To' videos. I felt this video was put together very well, IMHO. I could understand what you said in the video. Your steps were done at a rate of speed that I could see what you were doing as it was done.

I cant run it, it says that some file is missing when i try to run setup.exe or Hero editor.exe
Why after i edit, the hero file went missing in the game, i can no longer find the character but the name is said to be used already
@w4yn6 wrong modifying any part of the games files is modding so you learn the definition of modding before you critisize

This isn't a mod. just hero editor. learn to mod the game really. it's more fun that way =P
