The builds should be up soon on their sites. Until then, you can download this patch (BanishedPatchAnyTo1.0.4.141103.zip) to bring the game up to date. As always, just extract this archive into your Banished folder and overwrite any existing files. The mod kit hasn’t changed much, but there is a new release of it available on the Mod page. I had Banished since 1.0.4, if I recall correctly since Win7, and never had sound until recently; now I do. Updating old versions of the game

With Steam

Simply make sure that the game is updated (you need version 1.0.4 or greater).

Banished

With a standard install

Uprade your game to at least version 1.0.4 and extract the patch into your game folder. Make sure to preserve the directory structure of the zip.

If your game version is 1.0.4 or higher, you don't need to upgrade.

Installing a mod

To install a mod for Banished, you just need to move the mod file (modname.pkm) into the WinData folder. The default locations are:

Running the mod

  • When running the game, click the mods button on the main menu, and select which mods you want to be active. Any new games you start will have those mods enabled.

To run mods on an existing save, first load the saved game, then enable mods through the in-game menu (press Esc). Vietnamese font for mac.
